The Design Team
The design team, led by Donald Kay, is diverse in background and expertise, and needs to be!
The common theme is that with nearly 400 product developments under the belt, every one in the team is well versed in the fundamentals and embraces the challenges that our diverse product range present.
“When other engineers are giving up because it is too hard – our guys are just getting interested!” says Donald. “It takes exceptional engineers to go from working on 5.8Ghz tollway tags to 2KW motor drives on the same day.”

Donald Kay is passionate about good electronics and the way it enables so may different products.
He created Don Alan Pty Ltd in 1992 as a vehicle for his passion.
His knowledge of the industry as well as electronics design coupled with his interest in customer’s applications has been a winning combination.
